Casino Tropez Bonus Policy

Filed under: — David Folker @ 7:42 am

I find casino tropez’s promotional policy ridiculous as well. I made a deposit of $100 and they matched it, however I found out that I have to wager 8 times my (deposit + bonus) to be eligible for any winnings. 8 x $200 = $1600

The thing with it is, most of the popular casino games does not count towards the required $1600 wager. http ://www.casinotropez.com/bonus.html Bets placed on all versions of Baccarat, Craps, all versions of Roulette, all versions of Sic Bo, all Video Poker games, Blackjack Switch and Blackjack Surrender will not be counted toward wagering requirements..

I would disagree with the author of this comment. The rules of a bonus to which he refers are almost identical for all online casinos, and it’s a sort of a standard for online gambling. I have not come across an online casino that would not require to wager a certain amount before they allow to make a withdrawal. Moreover, I have to note that the demand to wager eight times (deposit + bonus) sounds very reasonable in comparison with demands of other online casinos.

For example, in Royal Dice casino, you have to wager that amount 20 times.

“All PLAY BONUS credits are for wagering purposes only. (No withdrawal will be honoured for an amount less than the PLAY BONUS. Upon a withdrawal request (regardless of the number of deposits), any amount up to the equivalent value of the PLAY BONUS will be deducted from your play balance or winnings prior to settlement. The first credits wagered will be deducted from your deposit(s) rather than from the PLAY BONUS). In the interest of fair gaming in order to cash out any amount of money you must wager at least twenty (20) times your bonus plus deposit.”

Casino pill

UNEXPECTED side-effects can result from taking medication. When Pfizer tested a new angina drug, male volunteers noted an unusual consequencethey were getting frequent erections. The compound, UK-92,480, was renamed Viagra by the pharmaceutical giant and the rest, as they say, is history. Now researchers have found that a class of drugs used to treat Parkinson’s disease also has side-effects, albeit of a less desirable nature. It causes a small but significant number of patients to become compulsive gamblers, alcoholics, gluttons and sex pests.

Parkinson’s disease occurs when the brain cannot make enough of a neurotransmitter called dopamine. Dopamine carries signals to the parts of the brain that control the initiation and co-ordination of movement. A shortage of dopamine in the brain can lead to tremors, slowness of movement, loss of balance and muscle rigidity. Although there is no cure for the disease, a class of drugs called dopamine agonists mimic the effects of dopamine and bring some relief to patients, particularly in the early stages of the disease.

However, researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, have discovered that dopamine agonists have the power to change the personality of some patients. In a study published online in the Archives of Neurology, they found that a small but significant number of patients, most of whom had never or only occasionally gambled before, took up the habit. Others became compulsive eaters or alcoholics, or developed an increased sex drive that their spouses found bothersome. Fortunately for the patients and their families, the penchant for indulging in compulsive behaviour disappears soon after stopping the medication. Unfortunately, the same is not true for the Parkinson’s symptoms.

The drug fingered as having the biggest association with compulsive behaviour is called pramipexole, which strongly stimulates a dopamine receptor located in the part of the brain believed to be involved in the control of emotional matters. Over-stimulation of this area can cause compulsive behaviour.

In a parallel, retrospective study, it was found that 1.5% of patients taking pramipexole became pathological gamblers. Because of the rarity of the side-effect, the Mayo Clinic researchers say there is no reason to stop prescribing the drug. However, in light of this research, doctors prescribing pramipexole should warn patients of the risk, and patients and their families should be alert to any changes in behaviour. Meanwhile, who wants to bet on how long it will be before a crooked casino boss is caught adding dopamine agonists to the bar drinks?

Pitt and Clooney turn Casino bosses!

Filed under: — News Admin @ 9:59 am

Brad Pitt and George Clooney are all set to build a new hotel and casino in Las Vegas, in a deal with Cindy Crawford’s husband, nightclub boss Rande Gerber. “Brad will design the hotel and be the face of it with George. After Ocean’s Eleven this makes perfect sense, and the three of them are very good friends,” an insider was quoted by Hello magazine, as saying. A formal announcement on the deal is due in November with work getting underway in January 2006. The project has apparently been in the pipeline for a while, with Brad first embarking upon talks with Rande two years ago. George came on board more recently.

Online Casinos and Internet connections

Filed under: — David Folker @ 8:22 pm

Anyhow, I called up the customer service to let them know the problem, they accuse me that my internet connection was lost and deny that they have any tech problems. Okie, let’s look at this closely, HOW can my internet connection be lost when I can chat with other players fine? And how can I make other bets but when I try to make a winning one I cannot confirm? How can my internet connection be lost and yet I’m still surfing around on my other window? I think this is not fair at all.
From : Unfair game in Golden Palace Casino

The fact that you were able to chat with other players does not necessarily guarantee that there was no interruption of communication. Theoretically, a short loss of connection can make one Internet application come to a halt but not necessarily have the same effect on the other application. However, having an experience working for an Internet casino, I can state that this reasoning is used very often by online casino technical support staff to explain various problems. Also, a well-developed software should automatically correct most, if not all of the problems that arise due to a short loss of connection.
